This idea is not new, Sears pioneered the concept, successfully selling over 100,000 “modular” homes in the early 1900’s.

Since then, the technology of off-site construction has been successful in many markets opting for a worry-free, timely alternative to on-site building. With today’s optimistic housing trends, on-site building is not without consequences.
